Don't panic players, there's nothing wrong with your connection, put the knife down! The server is down momentarily and there's no telling when it'll be back up, probably soon though. My guess is that Vult-R is working on the latest Disconnecting exploit. If you don't know already, the exploit works with a player whose name has a string of W's (ie: Wmwwwwwwwwwwwwwmww) and then spams Global, Private, or Public chat with a string of W's.
Here we have the FIRST bank, one that we all know to be very busy and crowded, and here are the effects of these knuckleheads.
Unfortunatley, I forgot to take a screeny of Aeven square, buy you can somewhat see around the paperdoll that it does indeed look..quite empty.
Hopefully the problem is being taken care of. All I have done about it recently was put a lot of these names in my ignore list, and trust me, it isn't all that easy to figure out the names when you keep getting Disconnected. This is pretty much what I have so far:
wmwwmwmwwwww
wwwwwwwwwwm
wwwwwwwwwwwm
wwwwwwwwwwww
It probably won't matter. Hopefully this exploit will be fixed and we can somewhat enjoy the game again. Thanks for reading.

Be careful knob and Fire owners
It seems lately that an incredible amount of players are losing interest in obtaining Fire arrows and Knob Staff (there may be other items as well, but these items I've noticed the most). The result: A major decrease in price/worth. Many players became fairly wealthy due to the gold duping and dropping a few months ago, and much of that gold was spent on new items once v.28 was released.
Ice arrows were always less expensive than fire in spite of them both having the same stats. This is mainly because the items needed for fire arrows (including dragon claws and wings) were more difficult for a number of players to obtain than Ice arrow ingredients (including ice gems and ice cubes). At one point fire arrows were going for nearly 1mil, while ice arrows were about 500k. This was only a few weeks ago, and now fire arrows just hit under 400k, which is very close to ice arrows, which are on average 230k.
Knob staffs, which is usually the one item to remain one of the top most expensive items in the game, has dropped to under 700k now, and the price continues to decrease.
The point I'm making? Sell your items and do a damn good job selling them. Save your gold now and buy these valuable and powerful items in a couple of weeks when they're even cheaper. And for those of you who have these items, sell them, and sell them quick. Buy them back in a few days and make some profit. But be careful, because these items aren't in very high demand at the moment, and that's why their prices are dropping. They're a hard sell, but they're also a hard buy because sellers can't stand selling an item for so cheap when it was so expensive not too long ago.
Happy merchanting EO, and by the way, Happy Thanksgiving to our American players, and happy be-lated Thanksgiving for you Canadian EO'ers. :)

Fitst "Serious" EO topic.
Baru prices steadily increasing. I've been noticing lately that the prices of Baru and Baruta have been slowly increasing over the course of a few days. Just this past monday Baru was being bought and sold for just under 300k, and now I've seen it go as high as 500k. I've come to the conclusion that players believe that there's a chance that these items will be dropped again in yet another Christmas event. They're more than likely hoping that they can get rich off of selling Baru's at high prices before they're dropped yet again and become less valuable. Let's get real guys, there isn't going to be a Christmas event, at least not one thrown by the GMs. The only ones who ever come on to do anything (Arvid and Rexor) are not likely to even want to. I mean come on, it's Arvid. Sometimes I wonder if he celebrates his own birthday. And Rexor...well...y'think Rexor might do it? Vult has been MIA for a while, and by MIA I mean not REALLY BEING ON DOING SOMETHING other than just taking a peek around and logging off. My point: Don't buy Baru for more than 230k, it just isn't worth it, and there haven't been any reports (to my knowledge) of anyone doing any mass junking of Baru's, so save that cash for some nice Ice Arrows or an Oron. Right now, a Baru just isn't worth it. |

First post.
So yeah, this won't be anything too serious. Post number one, kind of an experimental one actually, just to see how things look. I'll see if I can stay devoted to keeping a blog up, and I'll add links to the other EO blogs in time. Thanks for reading.
